Registration Information

Early Registration Deadline: May 1, 2025

As in past conferences, the meeting will be preceded (Sunday, June 22) by one day of tutorials and a welcome reception. Sessions will take place (Monday-Wednesday, June 23-25) along with an industry tradeshow.

Conference Registration includes the following for Invited, Regular/Postdoc, Student, and Exhibit Attendees. One Day attendees will only be able to participate in the events taking place on the selected day. Note: Student registrants will be required to show a valid student ID. Postdocs need to register at the Regular rate.

Travel Grants

We will be offering some limited travel grants to Students and Postdocs. You may apply during the conference registration process.

University Professor Discount

We want to welcome University Professors and their students to ALD/ALE 2025 with a special University Professor Discount offer. As a Professor, if you bring 5 or more students to ALD/ALE 2025 we will provide a registration waiver for one designated student. This requires both the Professor and students are current AVS Platinum Members. It is recommended that all are staying at one of the suggested conference hotels (or live in a local postal code) to be eligible for the offer. Please contact ALD/ALE 2025 Registration Coordinator, Heather Korff, heather@avs.org, if you have any questions regarding this opportunity. NOTE: This may require early registration in order to coordinate hotel reservations.

Registration Policies

  • Prepayment Issues – If you have an issue with prepayment, please mark “Pay Later” in the payment section and submit your registration. If you have any questions about payment options/details you may contact Heather Korff, Registration Coordinator, heather@avs.org. Be sure to register in advance, onsite registration is not guaranteed.
  • Cancellation: If for any reason you cannot attend the ALD/ALE 2025 conference you must contact AVS at 530-896-0477, heather@avs.org by May 16, 2025, to receive a refund, less a $100.00 processing fee.  No refunds can be given for cancellations after May 16, 2025.
